So it was a cold, autumn afternoon, I was studying my bum off and the craving hit. I was a week out from mother nature's monthly visit and I wanted salted caramel and chocolate - pronto!
Striving to 1. get some abs in the most holistic and un-sacrificing way and 2. to keep my skin clear, I wanted to make a yummy, sugar and dairy free slice. And I got this:
Now, I'm pretty proud with how these turned out! They're dairy and gluten free, plus if you don't use honey completely vegan! Plus they pack a protein punch 'cause of the bukinis and pea protein in them.

To be completely honest I just made this up on the spot!
But what's included - for the base:
- mostly bukinis
- oats
- handful of almonds
- couple of dates
- shredded coconut
- a little coconut sugar
- some peanut butter
- enough melted coconut oil (you could use butter too) to make it all stick together
- swizzle of agave nectar
- drizzle of honey - yes I like it sweet!
Then pop this in the fridge and get started with the chocolate:
- All you really need is enough chocolate to cover the top of your base. So guesstimate it! I believe in you!
The best way to melt chocolate is in a glass/porcelain/metal bowl over a pot of steaming water, this way you don't scorch it.
Spread the chocolate over the base, refrigerate for 45 mins (or thereabouts) and enjoy your healthy completely sugar-free slice!
ahhh this definitely made me hungry. great post!!
